Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Part of our little community sits the Elm House Studio, a two story, hand-hewn, hardwood dream cabin in the rainforest. This one-bedroom mountain retreat (only 50 mins from Meanjin/Brisbane) includes a self-contained kitchen, luxury linens, a claw foot bath and a fireplace for all of your cosy dreams to unfold. Walking access to world-famous rainforest walks and only a 10 minute drive to swim in the beautiful ‘Pixie Pools’ and Northbrook gorge. Weddings welcome.

The space
This beautiful rainforest property has a row of four eccentric buildings all looking onto a large grassy lawn. Our boutique venue, Elm House, sits next door to the Elm House Studio accommodation. Please search “Elm House Mount Glorious” to find out more about our wedding offerings. Then there is our family's barn home next to the property's Original House. No events will be booked in the venue while you are staying (unless it is your event of course!) and the buildings have been renovated to create individual, private sanctuaries. We will be as conscious of your privacy as possible.

Other things to note
We have a large stair case in the middle of the Elm House Studio which is not suitable for people with mobility concerns.

Our little family are pouring our hearts and souls into this place, carving out our own stories here as we look to a long life on the mountain.
